Beautiful temple! Walking along the street you can still see an old stone house.

Apteegi 7, Räpina, Põlvamaa, 58.092563, 27.454334 58 ° 5 '33.23 ", 27 ° 27' 15.60" The Apostolic Orthodox Church is an oblong-shaped building in three parts, made in the style of classicism. In the western part there is a chapel, in the eastern part there is a semicircular apse. In the center of the building there is a dome with a vestibule. The exterior design of the building is made in the style of classicism, there are cornices and rustics. The simple iconostasis of the 19th century is striking in the interior. Interesting to know: The first church was built of wood in 1752 by order of the Russian Empress Elizabeth. In 1813 the wooden church burned down. The construction of the current church began in 1827 by order of Tsar Nicholas I and continued until 1833.
