Rakvere Linnus

Beautiful place to visit if you are in Rakvere. It also gives you a nice view overlooking the city.

Refreshing. Cooling wind. Room for hand dance. Harmony in long grass in July. Architecture to feel part of greater human endeavours. Valleys for self-discovery. Inspiration for artistic interpretation. Great for couples to walk and talk.

Really nice place. There are animals freely walking around. Great views from the castle over rakvere. Medieval vibes. You can try out archery here. Highly recommended!

A very well preserved historical castle in the central of Rakvere, easily accessible and room for parking. We spent around 2hours there but with a big play area based on historical practices and with guided tours and free shows it can take certainly more time than 2hours. The ticket prices are fair and I definitely recommend the torture chamber exhibition

We visited most of castles in Estonia. Rakvere is one of the most impressive we saw in whole the Estland. It's a pity, we were late to enter it.
