It is a very old building from the midst of 14th century. It just renovated again and it is very beautiful now. Historically the church has been the main church of the Lüganuse parish.

Looks very good after restoration.

The church was rebuilt after the wartime bombings. Modern stained glass (VKG technical director Meelis Eldermann's gift to the community). The church building was renovated in autumn 2020.
