Virumaa Hostel

Book should not be judged by its cover, but this time, the cover won`t lie. Virumaa Hostel is a decent place. The outside looks great and majestic, so does the inside. The first thing you will see before going in from the main door is an electronic lock system. Every guest will have their own keycard, which is used to open the main door early in the morning or at night, when it is usually locked. Also, the keycard is used to open doors, which are placed on every entrance to the floor. The service is very good and kind. You will always be helped, even if they could not speak your mother tonge. Speaking of languages, the main three languages you will hear are Estonian, Russian and English. The rooms feel tidy and presentable. The beds are comfortable, although a little too small for bigger humans. The bathroom has decent shower, sink and a toilet. Looks nice, feels nice. Occasionally you will be disturbed by loud music. This is because 2nd and 3rd (according to British floor system) floors are dedicated to students. Overall, it is the best housing business in the whole Kohtla-Järve region. If occasional loud music is not disturbing enough for you, then don't hesitate to make a booking.
