Tallinn Zoo

Tallinn Zoo gets better every season. This summer the amount and diversity of plants and flowers everywhere made the place look really pretty. Modern enclosures are popping up all the time, having replaced most of the old soviet ones. The new tropical house and tiger enclosure are in the works, too, and the new polar bear home is beautiful. Plan to easily spend 3 hours here if coming with kids. There's a playground and a kids railway, where they can "drive" a train, which is always a big hit. Worth a visit but beware - lots of walking, so plan to have a stroller or a carriage you can put kids in and pull along. There are never any left of the ones they have at the zoo .

It's a nice place for a walk. Unfortunately animals aren't in great conditions, but hopefully it will get better. Lately there were good changes.

Take enough time to spend a whole day there. Also, make sure to have 20cent coins so you can buy bird food and feed it to the birds in the water. Feeding them was so much fun 😊

Vending machine stole 6 euros from me for a coca-cola that was supposed to be 1 euro. Otherwise its a really nice place. Loved the animals.

Few little cafés to visit along the nice walk in zoo. The one on rocca side is the best selection of food. If you visiting with kids, it is fun to go to elephant cafe up in 'trees' but there is only burgers and fries there but fun place. Best time to visit when is not too hot as animals were hiding and we did not see many. Petting zoo was also fun when open
