Honestly, a wonderful clinic. We brought in our older dog, feeling quite hopeless, as another clinic told us she needed 3 surgeries and had a pretty rough time ahead of her. So we drove to the other end of town to get a second opinion here. It was the best choice we made. They communicated well over email, phone and in person. They told us we only need one surgery and it was actually affordable. The vet explained everything to us without us having to extract the information forcefully with a lot of questions. They truly seemed to be interested in doing what's best for my beloved pup, including actual surgery prep, which wasn't planned at the other clinic. The only issue I had was on the day of the surgery. She had to lie awake under an IV for a few hours and since she was taken away from us, she was alone without anyone familiar. Despite knowing that the staff was reliable, I couldn't help but worry that she would become extremely stressed and it could possibly damage her. Then again, it might have been my fault, since I was too shy to ask. But a few hours later she was home and walked out on her own paws, just a little grumpy. The following days they actually provided post-surgery support, which was very important to us, since we've never had a dog operated and had a ton of questions and worries. So staff, if you ever read this, I am very sorry for the amount of questions, emails and calls you got, but I am ever so grateful for taking all the time to answer and explain every single one. Our dog is still recovering, but seems to be doing well and we owe it to the clinic and the great staff. Thank you for being caring, accessible and affordable! The longer drives are definitely worth it!
