A wonderful modern maritime museum in Paks Margareta. At summertime there's a roof terrace caffe.

Really interesting

Nice small museum. If interested in Estonian maritime history from ancient times though medieval Hanseatic routs to recent history. Crown jewel of the modern exhibition is one of the largest survived wreck of a true Hanseatic cog ("koge"), almost 20 m of true medieval shipping history. Also very nice collection on ship models and other artefacts from various eras. Also a cafeteria on the rooftop of the museum, which is actually itself an important land mark - former cannon tower which later served as a prison. Highly recommended for an hour or two.
