Bank account cannot be opened online, because the only authorization method is Mobile-ID. I have only my ID card (EU citizen, temporary residence permit). Still tried on 26.03.20 to apply online, got a reply in e-mail, that I should visit the closest branch for identification. After the work went to Kristiine Keskus, and the clerks from the branch told, that no, I have to wait 5 working day's and I will get my contract. I have asked additional questions, but still the same response and didn't want to even investigate my case or even look up in the system. And from nonverbal communication had impression, that I should go away as soon as possible (even though I was the only one client in whole branch, and I didn't looked sick or was). Disappointing experience and opened my bank account the same day at LHV. Looking forward to cooperate with them.

Avoid!!!

The daily limit for making a payment in the online bank has been exceeded, and in order to increase it, you need to call the support, from there you will be directed to write a LETTER to the bank. The letter must be Wisely written and must include a justification for WHY you want to raise the limit, otherwise it will be rejected. The limit will be changed at any time later. This is an anti-fraud mechanism. Which is ridiculous.
