A wonderful cemetery not far from the city centre of Tallinn, with both Russian orthodox and Estonian Protestant graves. It’s set in a rambling wooded area, where the trees and uneven ground literally brakes up the lines of the graves and “orderliness” – life and death isn’t orderly. Suitable for a cemetery, a celebration of impermanence and beauty.

This graveyard is truly wild and beautiful. I could spend hours exploring the graves and trying to decipher the Russian headstones.
