Historical pharmacy. Worth a visit! It looks like a small museum but you also works as regular pharmacy

Absolutely worth to visit! One of the oldest pharmacy in Europe. It is a "small free museum".

It is believed to be one of the oldest continuously running pharmacies in Europe and the oldest commercial enterprise as well as the oldest medical establishment in Tallinn. I joined the walking tour and explored the establishment. Some of the antique materials are still on display. Very interesting place to visit particularly if you have interest on healthcare and pharmacy.

I stepped in for a few minutes just because of the history, but the part with Pharmacy displays was closed. However, besides real modern medicines, there were a lot of touristy items, including old bills, stamps, figurines, etc. Basically not much to see beyond having bragging rights that you were there! I had a 24-hour "Tallinn Card" which covered most sights. I was in Tallinn on a 9-hour stopover on a Norwegian Getaway 9-day Baltic Cruise during mid-August 2019. Rick Steves "Scandinavian & Northern European Cruise Ports" Guidebook was a great help and this sight was part of the self-guided "Tallinn Walk" in the book.
