International School of Estonia

For the first time in my 10+ years of professional life, I encountered the top management of this school to be a bully, unprofessional, confrontational, negative, and out of touch. Of course, the school's name and vision are not the problem, but the top management is. No one should be harassed and intimidated!

Over the course of 7 years this school had its good and bad moments, however all together I would say it was a good experience. The environment of a small private school with teachers that you can actually have a good conversation with made it an excellent environment for studying.

ISE is the only school in Estonia internationally inspected and accredited by the American New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and the leading international agency, the Council of International Schools (CIS). ISE is the first authorized International Baccalaureate World School in Estonia. ISE is authorized for the IB PYP, MYP, and Diploma programs.

After 3 years at ISE I can honestly say that I will never recommend this school to anyone. This is based on the extraordinary bad attitude from the top management level. Also, the extremely poor support from the children’s support staff when a student gets harassed by the top management of the school. As parents we have never experienced any international school with such a poisoned working environment and lack of trust between school, students and parents.

It was a wonderful school to visit. The teachers are so helpful and I am sure my daughter will settle well soon. Loved the school play area and the huge classrooms with so many toys
