Europcar Estonia Car Rental

We rented a car from this place for just one day. We chose the cheapest car on their site and when we arrived to the rental place, they said "oh it's your lucky day, so we give you this better car for the same price". We said thank you and took the better car. We drove to our destination, parked a car for a night and next morning we drove back to Tallinn and returned this car. Everything went fine and everything was as supposed to be. But on the next day we noticed that they charged us extra 300 € and didn't even bother to notify us for that extra charge and give any reasons. I had to call myself and ask why they charged us extra. They said that we damaged a car in three different spots. We were certain that during those 4 hours we used the car, that we definitely did not damage it in any way. Customer service was terrible and they did not want to hear us at all. They just wanted our money, so it felt like a scam that they tried to pull on us. But we had photos and video material that clearly showed that car was in same condition before and after return. At the end they admit that we didn't do anything to a car and said they will return our money. It has been one month and we still haven't received our money back and they don't reply to our emails / messages. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Gave car as per reservation. Explained the vehicle risks and insurance options clearly. Very professional service.

Its a fraud! Rent the car via billiger-mietwagen.de for 52€ a day. When we wanted to pick up the car, we had to buy 38€ extra and we couldnt cancel the contract. Never get any information before that there will be extra prices because Europcar didnt inform the rental platform correctly about their prices. Giving back the car was very untrustworthy. Nobody was checking that everything is ok with the car. I got no signature for bringing the car back etc... Never again Europcar!

For us the experience was good. We picked up the car in the morning and returned it after closing at the hotel reception. Of course, they try some upselling and want to sell additional insurances etc. But if you have booked in advance and are convinced of your selection then everything should be fine. Also, it is not the cheapest car rental company but for us the location directly in the hotel building we were staying at was perfect!
