There's plenty of rust here. This is essentially an abandoned place. The museologically intervention is minimal (or less). I recommend doing some research about this place before going there or to take a guide because there will be a minimal or less than minimal amount of signs and explanations. Also there are no protections and the risk of falling is high. Definitely take a torch with you and don't visit alone. Mobile data service is poor in the island (this is a huge exception, as you get wifi and mobile data all over Estonia whether in the city or in the middle of the forest or the swamp or in the middle of the sea - really).

Soviet era largest factory for naval mines in the Baltic. The Soviets therefore declared the island a military area and off-limits to the public. The Soviets also used the railway to connect the factory to the port.

It is interesting to see, but it is not long.
