Good little school, location a bit far. The history of Sajuga Basic School began in 1820, when the Sauga Writing School was opened in the village of Eametsa on the land of Sauga rental manor. In 1929, a new school building was built on the basis of the decision of Sauga rural municipality council, but it was destroyed in the 1936 fire. Sauga's new school building, completed in 1938, which still lives an active life on the picturesque banks of the Sauga River, was once one of the most beautiful school buildings in Estonia.
