We had a flat tire and we wanted to use the payment compressor. The machine requires a payment of exactly one euro and we only had loose coins (which amounted to more than 4 euros), so we went to ask for help from the operator who was looking at him leaning on a corner of the gas station. This, very reluctantly, told us that he was in charge of cash, not of the machine and that it was not his problem. He even told us that what we had already put into the machine, which did not reach the minimum euro, we had lost. After discussing a bit more with the guy, another client gave us the few coins we were missing
