Ensenada de Bueu

The Ensenada de Bueu, is one of the areas with the greatest tourist interest of the "Península do Morrazo". Here we find the town of Bueu and undoubtedly its port in an indispensable place to visit. There are several alternatives to travel along the coast of the Bueu inlet, since several companies carry out tourist cruises by boat, either to know the rafts where the mussels are raised, to contemplate the seabed and to discover the coast from the sea. For this last activity, we can also use the ferry, which has a boarding area in the port, and which travels to the nearby "Illas de Ons" bordering the southern part of the Pontevedra estuary up to Cape Udra. On this trip we will first see the fishing activity of the port, then we will sail very close to the rafts and once past "Punta Trimiño" we will see a large rock that protrudes from the sea called "O Cabalo". On the coast of this area there are different sandy areas such as "Praia Tulla" and "Praia da Mourisca" and small coves like "Praia Mediabril" and the nudist "Praia Pedrón". One of the elements that stands out in the crossing is the "Torre-Baliza del Cabezo de la Mourisca", which is located in front of the "Praia da Mourisca" located in the town of Beloso. This beacon rises in the sea, about one kilometer and two hundred meters from the beach, on some shallow sea. Its light signal facilitates navigation through an area where rocks abound. The beacon, which is 13 meters high, is white with a green stripe at the top. To finish the navigation through the inlet we will see the tip of Cabo Udra that marks the end of this area of ​​the Ría de Pontevedra.
