It is a nice museum to walk around in and quickly see all the items. One hour here is plenty. The staff were very nice, friendly, and helpful. The price is very reasonable.

Interesting history and nice size. It would be nice to have some things kids can touch.

Nice little museum with lots of old gear which was used to catch fish a long time ago.

Simple but nice. It takes one hour to complete the museum. But then you have learned a lot about fishing around the Costa Brava.

Excellent museum on Catalonia's fishing heritage!nnWe were fortunate enough to visit on the first Sunday afternoon in June when admission was free. However, it would have been well worth the usual €5 entry anyway.nnThe museum starts with an 8 minute video providing an introduction to fishing (you can ask the staff to set it to Catalan, Spanish, French or fortunately for us, English - possibly also to German). There are then various galleries on fish, the fishing communities and fishing methods. Main display boards are in Catalan, Spanish, French and English. Individual objects labelled in either Catalan or Spanish (not sure which one!!!). Excellent displays with a wide variety of interesting objects including some models showing the various fishing techniques and a full sized Catalan fishing boat from the 1920s. Highly recommend.
