Parish church of the Assumption of Casalgordo (Sonseca, Toledo), with a Latin cross plan with three naves (14th century). Mudejar brick horseshoe arch door. Coffered ceiling. Chapel of the Assumption (1535), Renaissance square bell tower (1575-90) of three bodies, Chapel of the Rosary (1723) and portico of columns of 1775. Two polychrome gold leaf altarpieces. The main altarpiece (1770), by Roque López Durando, is the Virgin of the Assumption to the Heavens (1959), Saint Joseph with the Child and Saint Teresa of Lisieux, crowns the Holy Spirit. In front of the altar is the grave - a vase with a flower of lys - of the religious Ioan of Cuenca (+ 1400), an incorrupt body dressed in purple robes, discovered in 1991, during the restoration of the temple. Altarpiece of San Ildefonso (17th century), patron of Casalgordo; image of 1770. The old hermitage of San Ildefonso was demolished in 1789. Visigoth decorative remains - rants - (s. VII) reused in the southern wall.

Church built in several stages. It seems that his body was from the 14th century. Very old but very endearing. It's a district of Sonseca. Hiking trails can be done together with Arisgotas. In a photo you can see the route in detail.
