The Fronton Labrit is a short Basque Pelota fronton in which the hand and short blade modalities can be played. Located in the town of Pamplona, ​​province of Navarra (Spain). It was built in 1952 in order to respond with a guaranteed fronton to the high demand from professionals and amateurs in the Navarran capital. It was the headquarters of the World Championship of Basque Pelota in 1962, later it was reformed in 1986 and, in 2002 it was adapted as the main venue of the World Championship of Basque Pelota in 2002, holding the opening and closing ceremonies there.
