It is a small church-crypt that is at the bottom of the Santander Cathedral. It is arranged in three naves, with numerous columns and low cross vaults. Inside, through some windows, in the first nave we can see remains of the old city. It is very beautiful and little visited.

Nice church next to the cathedral of Santander ... it stands out for its small size, its low ceilings and its impressive columns ... the archaeological remains inside it are interesting, and they belong to other older churches that were in the same place ... perhaps the least pleasant of the visit is the strong musty smell that there is ...

I found it very interesting. Without being enormously grand, its low ceiling is reminiscent of early Christian crypts. Remember the church under the Almudena in Madrid
