Nice church and fabulous the town and its people. It is worth visiting the church and its surroundings. An area with a lot of history. In the Church next to the presbytery are buried Juan de Herrera, builder of the Escorial monastery and great benefactor of the town. The church was built by Pedro de Liermo, nephew of Juan de Herrera, following the wishes of the latter. It was built at the beginning of the 17th century by Hernando de Bedia and Francisco Lavalle, although it has important reforms and additions that have masked part of the primitive construction, highlighting those carried out by Bernabé de Hazas and Domingo García Galán, from 1677.
