Nice little accommodation, we stayed only one night but it has a very cozy feeling to it. Rooms are basic but equipped with everything you could need, even a fridge and a bidet (if with private bathroom). Beds are very comfortable. We were received by a very friendly old lady even though we arrived very late - unfortunately she only speaks Spanish but we were able to communicate all necessary details. Parking is possible in a garage near the pension, but it costs €12 per day.

Very convenient for the Vitoria central shopping area and the old city. Clean and tidy with comfortable rooms. Hosts. Were very efficient upon arrival.

NOT GOOD VALUE FOR CYCLISTS! We were recently cycle touring around the Basque region. We paid 69 euros in advance for a room at Pension Araba via a booking website. At the time of booking we explained that we would require a safe place to store our bicycles. When we arrived, the owner insisted that we must pay her an additional 10 euros to keep our bicycles in our bed room.nThat's a shocking 14.5% increase on the original quoted price!nWe explained to the owner that the bicycles were clean and we were grateful that we could keep then in our bedroom but the price was unfair. We asked if she would charge the same if we had large suitcases to which she did not answer. We also asked why Pension Araba had not e mailed us at the time of booking to advise that a further cost would be applied for storing our bicycles. Again, we got not answer.nWe believe that this is Pension Araba's underhand ploy to extract further payment over and above that paid already via the booking web site. This underhand practice should be outlawed.nIn the end we left, totally disgusted that someone would try and exploit us in this way. We were are now pursuing a refund via the booking web site.nPlease note at very short notice we ended up stopping at a lovely 3-star hotel nearby for the same price Pension Araba wanted to charge us with no further increase for keeping the bicycles in our room!
