Oh come once to Germany! Charging for TASTING?!?!?!?! WHO DOES IT? And if you Charge - tell it in advance! Really bad, really bad! I need to know what I buy, when I plan to buy boxes. Was not able to do it here anyway. Think twice, when you come here. They talk about quality! Joke.

Seeing the grounds of this winemaker was very interesting and fun. The tour guide was wonderfully accommodating and a wealth of info. They weren't harvesting at the time of our tour, but the tasting we got was definitely worth the lack of action on the processing floor.nWe're not really what I would call informed wine drinkers, but for us, the wine was fantastic. We bought a couple of bottles and have really enjoyed drinking them since we've been back in the US.nDefinitely worth the stop if you're near.

Lorna walked us around the winery and showed us the plots, place where they process the grapes while telling us the history of the celler. We ended up in the shop tasting three different wines: red, rose and red. Lovely place if you want to taste local produce!

Beautiful grounds and delicious wine. Only 4 types of wines to try but they were all very different and tasty.
