Located in a populous neighborhood of the Villa from which it takes its name. It is a well-preserved old building. As a whole it is noble, despite its modest appearance and lack of monumentality.nMap of the city The church takes advantage of the southern side, leaving the convent rooms to the north, these are developed around a small cloister surrounded by arches.nThis convent was dedicated to S. Bernardino and its residents were Franciscan friars. At present it is used as a school of arts and crafts and premises for the Teachers' Center. The church remains open to worship and supports the parish.
