Great historic building in the center of Toledo. Regional government headquarters. There is a part that you can visit.

Fuensalida Palace (15th century), between Santo Tomé Street and Plaza del Conde, in Toledo (Castilla). It was ordered to be built according to a Renaissance project -gothic flowery, Mudejar and Plateresque- by Don Pedro López de Ayala y Castañeda (+1486) -son of Pedro López de Ayala 'el Tuerto' (+1451) and grandson of Alava Pero López de Ayala ( 1332-1407), almighty Lord of Ayala, Major Chancellor of Castile-, 1st Count of Fuensalida - title granted in 1470 by King Enrique IV of Castile (1454-74) -, Major Mayor of Toledo and Mayor of King Juan II de Castilla (1406-54), married to doña María de Silva y Meneses. During the s. XVI was the seat of the court of the Empress Isabel de Portugal, wife of Carlos V, where she died in 1539. Seat of the Presidency of the Junta de Castilla-La Mancha.
