In my opinion, the most beautiful church in the village.

Although it retains the Romanesque crenellated tower of the twelfth century, the church is Gothic with a single nave. The presbytery is also the funerary chapel of Garcia Hernandez Carrascón, whose polychrome alabaster tomb is on the left. The altarpiece of the high altar, plateresque of the sixteenth century, outstanding work of the Spanish Renaissance, was paid for by Dr. Carrascon and painted by Pedro de Aporte, Mannerist painter inclined towards detail and expressiveness. This church, distinguished among those of the Villa, is located to the northeast of the Plaza del Mercadal. To the outside it presents a voluminous building complex with its porch, nave, head and additional chapels on which it stands attached to the walls of the north, the Romanesque tower, an important vestige of the primitive temple, erected in the last quarter of the 12th century

This temple was built at the end of the 15th century, in a Gothic style, but the ancient Romanesque tower-bell tower of the 12th century is preserved. In the main chapel is an interesting altarpiece that is attributed to Pedro de Aponte or the anonymous Maestro de Ágreda, one of the most important Mannerists of the first stage of Spanish Renaissance painting. The remaining chapels are decorated with Gothic and Plateresque altarpieces.nnThe temple consists of five bodies divided, externally, by nacelle imposts, some decorated with balls.nnOne of the chapels is that of Dr. García Hernández de Carrascón, doctor of Pope Adriano VI.nnIt is located in the same square as the alhóndiga.
