A very pleasant reading place. You breathe a lot of tranquility. What to say about the permanent exhibition Eduardo Pisano, worth seeing. There is also the possibility of seeing current cinema at a good price. the staffnHe is very attentive and friendly. Great place to present books, give talks ... Ceden the hall for free. Comfortable, easy, very pleasant staff. The only downside is that there is no one to park.

The House of Culture Hermilio Alcalde del Río, in Torrelavega, is a cultural center of the Government of Cantabria. It has a library, an auditorium, a cinema room, a classroom-workshop and an exhibition hall. It also houses the Pisano Collection and is the headquarters of the Regional Film Archive.
