We walked up to the monastery from a nearby village which was a nice walk. Once we arrived there was a service? or informational talk? from a priest. No English information and our Spanish wasn't really good enough to follow so we weren't entirely sure. We returned the next day and there was a mass. So after two visits we didn't even get to see the cross. Probably bad timing on our part but no idea.

The largest piece of Holy Cross is here. The entire experience is purely enlightening and mystical. The Holly Cross is taken out of the volt for pilgrims during service.

Beautiful old building sadly somewhat spoiled by its popularity and mass of tourists thought most are respectful within the more religious parts. Do go in and explore it’s fascinating.
