The entrance to the temple is Romanesque, although on it a niche is installed containing a large stone carved crucifix dating from the 16th century.

The Church of Santa María was rebuilt on a new floor between the 16th and 17th centuries. Dedicated to Santa María, it is a building of considerable dimensions, built in sandstone stone. Its plant, of Latin cross, is distributed in a single ship, with the sacristy after the head and two lateral chapels that are next to the presbytery, the set of spaces are covered with cover with vaults of gothic starred crucería.nnThe building also has a tower of three bodies built in good stonework.
