A beautiful church that was built by the direction of Bishop of Astorga in 1186 in Villafranca del Bierzo. The northern doorway of the church is called “door of forgiveness” - it is believed that if you enter by this door, take communion, pilgrims will be pardoned for their sins.

I recommend it as a place to enjoy in Bierzo. Very flirtatious to invite your partner at any time especially on Valentine's Day. A gourmet kitchen. The attention of its staff with their years of experience makes it Special. Many pilgrims enjoy it because it is on the Camino De Santiago. Greetings and may it be for many years.

Beautiful Romanesque A lot of history and a lot of symbolism. The pilgrims, who because of their deteriorated physical condition could no more, here they obtained forgiveness as if they had arrived in Santiago de Compostela. How many personal stories will have lived here!
