👍😎🍺👋☕ Fondo d'en Roig is an archaeological site located in the municipality of Cunit. It corresponds to a small Iberian farm active between the 4th and 3rd centuries BC. It is one of the few Iberian rural establishments located in Catalonia in good condition. The uniqueness of the set lies in the valuable data it has provided on the activities that the cessetanshi carried out: agricultural production, storage of cereals, oil, wine, etc. The establishment was probably linked to the exploitation of a transhumance road that connected the coast with the interior. It was discovered in 1996 during the construction work on the C-32 motorway, which is why it has a particular feature of being underneath this infrastructure. It is an almost unique site that allows us to deepen our knowledge of the life of Iberian society on the Cossetan coast.
