It was an oddly moving experience to be here. As an American I felt no particular love for the British soldiers that fought and died here yet they were a bit less foreign than the Spanish, Catalon, and Basque cultures I've been immersed in for weeks now. So the weirdly cultural affinity somehow had me feeling closer to them than I would have expected. It is a truly beautiful place and the entire park is one I could have spent several days in.
