Dirt and grass parking on the side of a river, which is pretty level and under trees. The area is not marked out so you can park wherever you like. In hot weather there is great shade but it's quite muggy with no real breeze. Because of the river there were plenty of mosquitos about. There are services excluding electricity. The grey drain is in the middle of a concrete slab that has a high drop on the back end. The black WC drain is under a steel cover off the ground. There is history of black WC cassette being emptied in the grey drain for some reason. There is no separate tap for the cassette. There is only 1 tap in a cabinet with a medium screw-on connection with great pressure. This fresh water tap is also used to clean cassettes so it needs cleaning if you drink your fresh water. There is a nice children's park, cafe and outdoor swimming pool just across the river. We only stayed the night so did not visit the town as it was during the heat wave.

Nice motorhome parking. Lovely town. Scenic walking and cycling paths. I highly recommend visiting a dam nearby. Fresh water. Waste water and chemical toilet disposal point. Would come back. Gracias!

Pretty site on the river bank, only meters from the village shops (just up the steps) super cake/bread shop, good butcher, make sure you visit the Cooperative shop "Agrobotiga" for local olive oil and wine. Visit the castle. And don't leave the village without visiting "Elena's Bar" (Bar / Restaurant Cooperativa Elena) great for hearty breakfasts, morning coffee, tapas and their famous "patatas bravas". There is a round walk of just 1km up the river to the old railway bridge and back past the old factory, great for walking the dogs/kids - feed the ducks on the way! "La Torre d'en Guiu" park - just the other side of the little river ( with a café open in summer with the municipal outdoor-pool), has tennis and padel courts, picnic areas and a good children's playground. All adds up to make El Catllar a great place to stop over a couple of nights whilst visiting the Tarragona area!

Good Aires with services. Sorry to see the bar/restaurant opposite was closed. Found a lovely locals bar in the town which was short walk away. Didn't appreciate having a man knock us up at 23.45 asking for a euro, apparently he did this to all 7 motor homes here. Also rowdy drinkers smashing glass at 02.30! Shame as previously staying here there haven't been any problems.
