I give it 5 stars for what this square means to me and the neighborhood. Every day when I left school La Palmera I went to the park with my classmates. It was a place to meet, do activities, birthdays and spend afternoons with friends. It is the square that gives its name to the neighborhood of La Palmera and although most people do not know it, it is a space conquered by the workers' struggle, which at first wanted to build more blocks and the people of the neighborhood avoided it. occupying the Plaza and making orchards there.nUntil about 4 years ago, there was a hundred-year-old Canarian palm tree that died due to the attack of the red beetle, accompanied by insufficient maintenance by the city council (instead of being in charge of Parks and Gardens of Barcelona, ​​is taken care of by a private company). Currently, there is a very young Brazilian palm, which is also very deteriorated. It has also been asked for a long time to fix the cobbled ground, which makes people stumble very often, at the moment not much activity can be done for this reason.
