While I am happy with Vodafone Spain for their reliable 4G signal and fast cable modem (and in a competitive package), my experience of their customer service - in store and on the phone - has been appalling. I was returning some of their equipment (a TiVo box) after a free trial, having been instructed to do this by customer services on the phone. The staff in the Carrefour San Juan store however refused to accept their own property - because their colleague on the phone had omitted to supply me with the correct code. Rather than take ownership of a problem created by their own company, the staff simply told me to go away because they couldn't/wouldn't deal with it. It was apparently MY problem to sort out with their colleagues on the phone. I walked out before I lost my temper...
