Superb campsite, even in the height of school holidays there was plenty of space and quiet. Beautiful walks from the site and a village 2 km away (via a steep hill) Excellent facilities, spotlessly clean with all necessary social distancing measures in place. Superb food in the restaurant, if a little pricey for a campsite. Friendly welcoming staff. The only thing I would suggest is a map of the local walks from the site, there is a board, but a proper takeaway leaflet would be helpful.

We were there mid October and it was basically closed. There was only one water tap that was in another part of the site. One toilet block open, at the bottom of a steep hill.. The campsite is at the very top of a mountain (5500ft). The air is very fresh and clean

Really nice camping site. Very clean and staff really helpful. Loads of trails to go up the mountain either by foot or bike. The night sky is amazing as well due to the location (1700+ meters above sea level and no city nearby) Totally recommend this spot, but watch out as nights can be really cold even on summer.

All level plots should have grass matting base, the gravel ones damage the tent. The site is great in hot weather and the wifi is a big asset. Dog friendly. Facilities are good but getting old. Good hot water.

Surrounded by pine forest with plenty of deer if you look for them. Very peaceful surroundings
