Highly recommended to have a small break in this small town and visit the museum , hanging around the streets . It really worthy to remember your childhood while reading his books .I would also thank you to one of the owner of a small souvenir shop for his funny and kindly designed clean toilets.

An excellent museum that tells you a lot of Cervantes as an author but also about his personal life. It also gives you an insight into the way of life in this part of Spain during those days. The museum has a good combination of new exhibits and authentic representations of how the house would have been.

If you are near Esquivias, this museum is a mandatory stop. For just € 3 you can enjoy a guided tour. In our case, the guide was very nice and friendly. It was also noticeable that he understood a lot of what he was talking about and that he adores his work. 100% recommended.
