La Ermita is one of my favorite restaurants in Toledo and not only for the food but also for the view. With an excellent menu that changes with the seasons and a wine list full of local wines, La Ermita should be required stop if you like good food. The service is excellent. Make sure to make a reservation and request a table at the window. You will enjoy an spectacular view of Toledo, day or night.

Gluten intolerants please avoid this place. When I called to book the table for me and my partner I specified that we are both intolerant to gluten. They told me there was no problem at all as they had gluten free options for us. Once there, we ordered the dishes that were supposed to be gluten free. Just after dinner, we had to leave because we both got sick! Very disgusting, despite the service and food were very good.

They are really trying too hard with the dishes, not pulling it off unfortunately. Other than the food, tricky place to get to. No parking. View is very good.

Chic restaurant with a beautiful view over Toledo and excellent local food. Do not hesitate to order the regional wine.
