The pharmacy is indicated for regular customers since the staff is very entertaining talking with customers throughout their lives. If you are in a hurry, you better have no one or else it will take. But it is normal in many places of the town, since they are people who have known each other for a lifetime, but for outsiders like me who come from a larger place, it is not normal.

They should have card payment. Obviously not all people who go to the pharmacy are fine and getting there being sick or in pain and finding that you can't pay if you don't have cash or enough cash is not pleasant. Plastic money is the order of the day today and they should be able to offer that possibility.
