It is the place where the bulls were left before being fought in the bullring of Valencia. The history of this plot, like many others in the city, goes back more than half a century, when the Francoist City Council approved at a plenary session held on September 15, 1967, to give the Provincial Council the land in exchange for some land in the provincial hospital. When the Natural Park of L'Albufera was created in 1986, the plot became fully demarcated, with the limitations that this entails. It is not remembered on what specific date the facilities ceased to have definitive use but it is known that in 2012 the sale no longer worked as such and had not been used for a while. The complex occupies an area of ​​16,000 square meters and has eight corrals, four corraletas and an old house used by the corralero. It is located on the dune system closest to the sea and where the community of sea hedgehog appears, very rare in the Devesa. La Venta also sits on the Algarrobo grid, where you can find typical saltwater communities (in fact, some Limonium and Juncus species have the best representation in the Natural Park here).
