Small tourists office with WiFi, Staff were welcoming and helpful as well as speaking good English.

The museum itself is not worth anything, it has a very diffuse discourse and also the museography is boring and old-fashioned (except for the rooms dedicated to Ramon Muntaner). The only thing that stands out here is the cloister, the main reason for my visit. In fact, if that's what you're interested in, it can be seen from the outside, from a discreet side window. Admission is paid (which by the way is not indicated anywhere, they only tell you when you enter and get ready to see it). It costs € 3.50, and if you have discounts you will have to ask for them, because a priori they don’t even tell you. Unfortunately a center disappointment

Inside this tourist office, after crossing a square with a well included, are the only remains of the old convent of Santo Domingo de Perelada, its cloister. Founded in the second half of the 11th century, by the Augustinians, in 1578 it passed to the Dominicans. With different motifs on its capitals, it is a place that transmits peace and tranquility and is well worth a visit. On the upper floor, we find some paintings, one from the Prado Museum, and works by Ramón Montaner, different objects found in excavations, and an audiovisual room that tells the story of Perelada. Highly recommended. Uriol's kindness, both at the entrance and at the exit of the office, his knowledge of what is exhibited there and the interest in making our visit a pleasant one, deserves a special mention. 👍👏

There are no guided visits, despite being announced, and what is shown is far less than what was done 10 years ago, in a visitanocturna and theatricalized, they are counted.
