We went to the Restaurante San Juan late Sunday evening and they were not making Paella without advance notice but they accomadated us anyway. It was amazing. This was a wonderful experience. They gave us home made Sherry and the young man serving us was great. We also met a Restauranteure named Luigi from Mallorca, what a gentleman. We hope to go to his restaurant soon. Don't miss this place if you are in Riojar. Nice family business.

Busy place, we are in August ... menu, you order trout with poor potatoes, and they come drenched in oil and cloves of 2 large garlic (they take it for granted that everyone likes to eat a lot of oil and a lot of garlic?) salad lettuce tomato etc, dried from being prepared in the morning and kept in the fridge until lunchtime. The pasta salad wasn't good either. The lemon mous dessert was raw; liquid. Of course, the service of waitresses and waiters very good, and fast. Clean site. More effort could be made to prevent flies from camping at ease.
