It's fine, had the menu de dia, which at 11.5 euros was quite reasonable. Service friendly but understaffed. They definitely seem to concentrate more on the decor than the food, but I give them an extra star because they don't use this as a reason to really stick it to you price wise. So if you want decent if uninspired Spanish food in a relatively elegant setting without going broke, this place is for you. If food is what you are about (and/or you have a medium to low tolerance for Edith Piaf), find a neighborhood Rincon instead.

There is something here, but there is something missing as well. Like a dressed up fast food. Your stomach won't complain but your eyes will be more satisfied. Maybe it will find the balance as time goes by.

One of our city centre favourites here in Alicante which personally I would use any excuse to visit as often as I could. The family that my wife and I took last evening were very impressed with the decor, ambience and how busy the restaurant was. That is not to say that they were unimpressed with the food, as like us they enjoyed it very much. I think that it speaks volumes when our friend, a local businessman, prior to leaving, made a reservation to bring his colleagues. Personally I would have no reservations about bringing anyone to this, in my opinion, five star restaurant.

We went there to get a quick meal before driving home after a days shopping. The setting is really nice. We didn't want anything to fancy and needed to be quick but the place was really nice.inside. the food was good albeit they didn't get the cooking of our meat correct. Mine was slightly over and my wife's quite a bit under. I think that was mostly the waitress' fault though. So inside is not like a traditional place you can get a price of meat or a burger. And you do feel it's more upmarket. The wine list was fairly extensive and the service was very friendly. All in all we will go back and try this place out again when we have more time to enjoy it. I would recommend this place for a quick decent meal or a nice evening meal in a lovely setting.
