Not to miss while in Alicante. Enter the castle from either by tunnel/elevator on the seaside or a healthy walk through the Parque de La Ereta. Enjoy sweeping views of Alicante all the way up to Benidorm. The Castell de Santa Bàrbara has some interesting exhibitions and a little cafe to lessen your thirst. Looking for a great camping resort in the Alicante area? Marjal Costa Blanca Camping & Resort is a 30min/40km ride. It boost several pools, great slides and great entertaiment.

Very nice to go, the insurmountable views. Corner house very well preserved. Expectacular

In the Patio de Armas of the castle of Santa Bárbara, the hermitage of Santa Bárbara rises, of which only remains remain, the Troop Barracks, today Felipe II room and the Guard Corps building. In the same courtyard we see the eyes of the huge cistern underneath. There are also the dungeons and next to the sea, the bastion of the queen, where there is a kiosk and tables to have a snack. At the exit of the Patio de Armas we can see what the tavern was, now an exhibition hall.

An interesting visit in Alicante. I recommend comfortable shoes since you have to go up paths that are not quite right to the highest part of the castle. From there there are spectacular views of Alicante
