Cannot find the place.

A small and strange museum. The English information doesn't really make much sense but it's still interesting to have a look around.

As a guide, I dearly love this museum. He not only illustrates the most important holiday of the city, he gives an idea of people and their mentality. But the holiday is extremely interesting: for example, in the countries of Eastern Europe there is nothing similar. However, to understand the museum you need to read at least a little about the holiday. I’ll leave a very short description here: Las Hogueras de San Juan, or Fogueras (name in Valencia) - one of the most important and beautiful holidays of the city of Alicante, takes place in June. Throughout the city, there are large and small papier-mâché figures that are burned on the night of June 25th. More details in the "Holidays" section. There are up to 100 pieces of these figures in the city, their size in the original is from 1.5 to 20-30 m. Special commissions choose those that will be "saved" from small figures, and instead of burning them they save it for history here. The museum is very unusual, reflecting the features of the city. Usually liked by both adults and children. It will take you about 15 minutes, hardly more. The Fogeras Museum reflects the stages of development of this holiday - figures, models, traditional costumes, etc. Please note: the museum has two entrances from different sides of the building. Any of them can be opened, periodically changed without a visible system. Landmark: old traffic light on a pedestrian street.
