Really interesting visit about the history of water abstraction in Barcelona and how this facility worked. The tourist info boards are in Catalán, Spanish and English. It's quite a walk underground following the old pipe network which pumped water to supply originally private neighbourhoods on the city. There's reference to Carson Limits to Growth to indicate how the debate has moved on from abstraction/quality to recognising that water is a very important, increasingky scarce resource in a more sustainable world.

Now they can't accompany you, but the visit can be done perfectly with the panels. Open on Saturdays from 11 am to 1 pm. The entrance from the Casa de la Trinitat Vella and exit through the Casa de la Trinitat Nova

An impressive and beautiful place that reminded me of family history. My grandfather contracted typhus in that epidemic that caused the Water House to be built.
