We come to this metro station quite often. It is well organises and they have machines to buy tickets. You can use either cash or card. The normal ticket we buy is T10 which allows ten trips - and more than one can use the same ticket (naturally each needs then to pay/stamp). The cost of T10 is currently (September 2019) 10.20 EUR. So, the trip is reasonably cheap, about 1 EUR - compared to the many other metros.

A station which takes forever to leave in the morning. This station needs to make entrance and exiting the station easier and quicker. If you come from town it is easier to get off At les corts and walk you make up the time as underground walk to get out is horrendous. You will then cross a roundabout of at least 5 minutes.

That's an easily accessible Subway station that contexts well to other transit, incl. Private cars, taxis or tram. It is also relatively clean, well lit and feels safe. For MWC visitors who choose to stay in sant Joan despi I recommend they use Maria Christina as their default Subway station to the center of Barcelona
