A great place to enjoy nature eating and walking. One of my favorite places. Pure nature and ideal for walking on its 36-kilometer route. I've been coming since I was little and it's a magical place. It has an incredible nature and you can walk to the Penedés area, it is an ideal place to take a snack or breakfast and eat everything while enjoying nature. The tree is still there where you can get inside it to take a picture. This place brings back very good childhood memories, it always made my day super long and I didn't feel like going back. If you want to enjoy yourself, I recommend coming here, since it is close to La Llacuna and the Anoia region.

👍😎🍺☕👋 According to the popular tradition, the sanctuary is dedicated to Saint Magin, the anchoret martyred in the 3rd century and buried in this place. Until 1204, there is no mention of the rock of Sant Magí and in the 13th century there was a church, which was a center of devotion and legacy beneficiary. In the sixteenth century, on the initiative of the Cervelló, the temple was restored and a fraternity was organized, at the same time as it was endowed with several properties. The barons of La Laguna, patrons of the sanctuary of Sant Magí, donated the place to the Dominican monks who, from the Convent of Santa Caterina, settled there from 1603 until 1835. In 1732, the current church was begun , which was inaugurated, although unfinished, in 1735. It was the object of various looting in the years 1714, 1835 and 1936. Since 1841 it has parochial functions. Towards the cliff over the sanctuary, a rung of steps leads to a natural cavern known as the cave of Sant Magí, where tradition says that the saint lived for thirty years, nourished by the angels, and where he was persecuted and killed by Romans. In these cliffs there are still some ancient ermitage in ruins. Documentally, we have no news before the year 1204 and there was a hermit church now. In the 16th century, the Cervelló family came to the Sanctuary with several properties. Dominicans ran between 1603 and 1835. From 1841 onwards, it is the parish of the neighborhood. Under the sanctuary is the Capella de les Fonts de Sant Magí, considered as miraculous and the object of romería; as the legend explains, the saint made him sprout giving three times to the ground with his cane when the Roman soldiers lowered him captive of the mountain of Brufaganya, to Santa Perpètua de Gaià. For centuries, populations such as Barcelona, Tarragona, Lleida, Cervera or Igualada have gone to seek water from the sources of Sant Magí de Brufaganya, to enter it solemnly into its municipality and distribute it among the neighbors. Near the Chapel of the Fountains there is a pedro dedicated to Sant Magí by the city of Igualada. It is a column of one and a half meters with an inscription that attests to equal devotion. It was inaugurated on August 16, 1927 and was destroyed in 1936 during the Civil War. The igualadins returned in 1950 to make the restoration and the second inauguration by Monsignor Amadeu Amenós. On August 16, 2010, it was reopened by representatives of the Town Hall of Igualada and the Friends of the Horses of the Anoia, after a new restoration.
