It is worth taking an excursion through Almagro and approaching this beautiful Romanesque church. At Christmas they usually put a very beautiful nativity scene that is worth seeing.

Beautiful religious building of the city of Almagro. This church is majestic. This city was marked by two Germans: Fugger and Wezel who lived in this city.

The building is very interesting but there was an exhibition about women that consists of a poem by Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz told by different women. It is very bland. The same poem is repeated on five or six screens located in different parts of the church.

Now, with the donation of the new altarpiece that warmly welcomes San Blas, it is like a return to its origins: austere but beautiful. Besides being able to see the painting and coat of the famous banker Jacobo Fugger (one of the richest and most powerful men of all time: key piece for the Emperor Carlos I of Spain) who, with his donation, allowed the construction of this beautiful hermitage .
