It is being restored and reformed to be a unique recreational and interpretive center of Sub-Betica. It promises the thing and with the staff in front of it, it is sure to become an essential stopping point.
It is currently closed and, judging by what is seen from the outside, in a state of semi abandonment. In fact, I don't know if it ever worked as a camping site, and if it did, it was rather short-lived.
I know that years ago you could request its use from the Carcabuey City Council but I no longer know how it will be.
